SECTION III - Hazards Identification

****Emergency Overview*** ----White liquid with castor oil odor --- ----- Class IIIB - Combustible Liquid ------- Potential Health Effects: EYE: Contains a component which is corrosive. Contact with eyes may cause permanent eye injury. SKIN: Irritant to the skin. Prolonged contact may cause burns with redness and pain. Contains a component which can be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts. INGESTION: No ingestion exposure expected with normal occupational use. CHRONIC HAZARDS: Overexposure to organic mercury compounds has been associated with nervous system effects, including fatigue, depression, tremors, headache, and emotional disturbance; chest and abdominal pain; digestive system effects; vomiting, sore gums; and kidney toxicity. Chronic ingestion exposure would be unlikely due to the method of use or physical properties of this product. The components listed in Section 2 may affect the following target organs: Central Nervous System, Eyes, Kidneys, Peripheral Nervous System, Skin. Primary Route(s) of Entry: Skin Contact, Inhalation, Eye contact.

SECTION IV - First Aid Measures

EYE CONTACT: Flush with lukewarm water for 15 minutes. Contact physician.
SKIN CONTACT: Do not remove with solvent. Use waterless hand cleaner followed by soap and water. Remove and clean contaminated clothing.
INHALATION: Remove exposed individual to fresh air. Restore breathing, if necessary. Get medical attention.
INGESTION: Rinse mouth. Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. DO NOT induce vomiting unless advised by a physician.
SECTION V - Fire-Fighting Measures

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Use CO2, Dry Chemical or Foam
SPECIAL RISKS: Vapors heavier than air. Development of hazardous combustion gases or vapors possible in the event of fire.
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE FIGHTING: Fire Fighters should use self-contained breathing apparatus with face piece.
OTHER INFORMATION: Keep away from sources of ignition. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering surface water or groundwater. Cool Container with spray water from a safe distance. Never use welding or cutting torch on or near container (even empty) because product may ignite explosively.

PERSON RELATED PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES: Avoid substance contact. Do not inhale vapors. Ensure fresh air supply in enclosed areas.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION MEASSURES: Do not allow to enter sewage system, surface or groundwater.
PROCEDURES FOR CLEANING/ABSOPRTION: Use inert absorbent material to take up spilled material. Place in appropriate container until proper disposal method is determined.

NOTES FOR PREVENTION OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION: Keep away from sources of ignition. Use and store this product with adequate ventilation.
NOTES FOR SAFE HANDLING: Avoid generation of vapors. Do not inhale vapors.
STORAGE: Store in well-ventilated area between 40 F (4C) and 100 F (38C). Store away from heat and sources of ignition.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Protective clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the substances being handled. The resistance of the protective clothing should be ascertained from the respective supplier.
